We are getting married three weeks from today! It's been a long time coming and we hope we have created a week worth the wait. We are so excited to hug you all and adventure with you soon.

Wednesday's Dunvegan Castle & Garden Tour
We've bought tickets (£12 each) for everyone who will be at the Raasay House on Wednesday to tour the Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. We'll carpool together to arrive at the same time, then have the rest of the day to wander off together in whatever size groups make sense to whatever adventure beckons.
Friday's Talisker and Torabhaig Tours
Friday's Distillery tours are all set, however, I've to date utterly struck out on scheduling a bus to take everyone, so we'll need folks to carpool. We'll get all the sorted when we are all together on Raasay - I'm definitely putting my teacher field trip management skills to work here. Talisker is very short staffed, so the tasting experience was cancelled, but the tour is still on. This will allow enough time to pop to a local pub for lunch (we'd recommend either Carbost or Broadford) or, if you take a bag lunch form the Raasay House, explore the beach at Carbost before heading to the Torabhaig Distillery tour. The Talisker tour starts at 11:00 am (£20 per ticket); there will be two back to back Torabhaig tours starting at 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm (£10 per ticket). Afterwards, you'll probably have time to drive part of the Sleat Peninsula (stunning!) or have a little wander around Broadford before heading back to catch a ferry to Raasay.
Saturday's Puffin Run and Loch Coruisk Adventure
Aside from the ceremony and celebration on Thursday of course, we are most excited about the trip on Saturday. We have finalized the details, so wanted to share with you the plan, weather permitting, at the present. The responses for the Saturday adventure were pretty much unanimous, which made planning fairly easy. We have chartered three boats and will all do the "Puffin Run" tour together then stop at Loch Coruisk on the way back for as long as we can. Since our group has chartered the boats for the day, it is likely we can accommodate some folks skipping the lake and returning to Elgol. However, the loch is remote and incredibly stunning that is often described as magical and mystical. We'll carpool together on the first ferry and be back in time for curries and some Bollywood dance action.
In the next blog post I'll write up who I have signed up for each scheduled adventure and sign up/RSVP buttons in case you haven't signed up, but want to.
