Tuesday Evening House Concert!

A talented local band, Harta, will provide us with an evening of music, history, and local culture Tuesday evening after dinner. The musicians are from Skye and play "early and contemporary Scottish and Scandinavian music." We heard a few of their songs earlier in the week and loved them. We are especially excited that they are eager to share the history and story behind the music. Also, the fact that they blend Scottish and Scandinavian music was a wonderful nod to our respective roots. To have a listen before hand, check out the links below. If you're really loving it, you can download two of their albums from the Bandcamp link. I've also asked them to bring CDs for people to purchase; I love bringing home music from my travels.
