Are you getting as excited as we are?! It's all coming together... well we are still missing his kilt and her dress, but everything else is on track! As noted earlier, in order to create a varied menu for the week, the Raasay House worked has with us to create themed meals each night. These are all outlined on the handy new "Menu" page. Appetizers, sides, and most mains will be served family style, so everyone is welcome to try everything. We are so excited about the menus the chef has developed and hope they will give you a varied taste of Scotland and maybe have you trying something you've never had before.

To help the kitchen order sufficient supplies without too much left over, we'd greatly appreciate you filling out a couple more RSVPs to help us give them some solid numbers about favorites and options. One of Jeremy's favorites, Steak and Ale Pie, is pictured above. RSVPs are below and on the Menu page.

Also note there is a "Likely Lunch Location" at the bottom of the "Menu" page. You can eat lunch at the Raasay House, have them make a bag lunch for you take with you or just head out on your own to find a pub. If you are going to request a bag lunch, you'll be able to do that from a small menu of sandwich and such choices once you get here. So, please think about where you are likely to be each day and what you're likely to want to do for lunch. If you think you may want to take off on a Raasay House adventure, you may want to wait a couple of days to make your daily lunch choice - we are just getting a picture of what the weather will be like and will be planning those outdoor adventures next week.

I know the RSVPs are a bit of a pain (and I don't have the option to turn off the name and email request), but they are very, very, very helpful for us to record and organize preferences. So thank you for filling them out. These will be the last of the RSVPs. Probably. Well, maybe one more.

Again, the dinner menu for each night and RSVP buttons are on the new Menu page on our website. If there were lots of choices, I gave an evening it's own button; if not, I grouped days together to minimize the RSVPs needed. As always, thanks for your help!

I'll have a more fun post tomorrow. We are on Raasay now and are watching their Hebridean sailboat glide across the bay. Gorgeous.
